Dans ce cas, on parle de d\u00e9perdition thermique. En ajoutant maintenant une couche d\u2019isolation dans l\u2019espace intercalaire s\u00e9parant le bardage du mur porteur, cet isolant va cr\u00e9er plus de r\u00e9sistance au passage de la chaleur r\u00e9duisant ainsi le transfert de chaleur et par cons\u00e9quent les d\u00e9perditions thermiques vers l\u2019ext\u00e9rieur.
